There are separate Sanctum Sanctorium for Sri Kaleeswarar, Sri Sivagama Sundari, Sri Vinayaga and Sri Subramanya. There are two flagposts ('Dwaja Sthampangal') in the temple, one for Sri Siva and another for Sri Ambal. There are five towers in total; one is know as Raja Gouparam (with five storeys), another one is known as Rishi Gopuram (with three storeys) and the rest three are small size Gopurams. Inside the precincts of the temple thre are several "Mandaps", meant for different temple festivals and a big and beauifully laid out sacred water tank. In addition an old wooden chariot ("Ratham") is also there requiring attention.
